About Me
My earliest memories are infused with the warmth of tea. In my grandmother’s enchanting home in Persia, the air would hum with the gentle hiss of her beautiful samovar (traditional tea kettle) and the alluring aroma of freshly brewed tea, often blended with fragrant blossoms or spices. We, her grandchildren, would gather on the windowsill, captivated by her tales of Persia’s rich history as we sipped delicately from our saucers. Each cup was a moment of pure connection, tranquillity, and a taste of home.
These cherished memories sparked a lifelong love for tea. Sharing tea with my family echoes that warmth, creating new memories of togetherness. While my career took a different path, a yearning for connection drew me back to the world of tea, steeped in tradition.
Fueled by this passion, I honed my skills at the UK Tea Academy in Scotland and England and became a certified Tea Sommelier in The Netherlands. With Bonding Blends, I create enriching tea experiences. Through workshops and consultations, I share the art of tea, equipping you to brew the perfect cup and discover the stories behind each tea. More than a beverage, tea is a vessel for connection, evokes nostalgia, and fosters reflection. Let’s embark on this exploration, one sip at a time.

They are fragile, like wisps of cotton.
Fleeting, ephemeral, inconspicuous,
Like wrinkly grandmother hands carrying a tray of fresh cookies.
An amber stream of rooibos coming out of a teapot your daughter holds.
The first glimpse of a friend’s face after a decade estranged.
The smell of chamomile carrying warm childhood memories.
A spontaneous afternoon gathering with a dear neighbour.
The smell of jasmine reminding you of adventures in foreign lands.
These tiny moments,
These simple pleasures,
Are treasures that come and go with the day.
Some become still frames in our minds,
Some evaporate, Leaving behind only a subtle aroma of vanilla, cardamom, or orange blossom.
These are the small delights,
The cherished moments of connection to someone, to some thing, to life.
Appreciating them is a skill to be learned.
Savouring them fully, an art.
